LA PMA punk duo No Age played with an extra member at SXSW last weekend: Cundo Bermudez (Wrangler Brutes, Nazti Skinz), who worked as the recording engineer on some of the duo’s early 12-inches. Contrary to a report on the Los Angeles Times music blog, drummer Dean Spunt told Gossip Wolf that Bermudez is only a temporary touring member, but they are “hoping to find a permanent third.” May we suggest Craigslist’s “Casual Encounters” section?
Third Man Records announced the name of the new Dead Weather record, the release date and when a music video would premiere on iTunes. The new record will be called “Sea Of Cowards,” and is scheduled to be released on May 11th. The music video for the song “Die By The Drop” will make its debut on iTunes on April 6th.

WikiLeaks, a non-profit organisation which tries to offer a means of anonymously exposing confidential documents, has become a thorn in the side of governments and private corporations.Its latest revelation concerns itself, namely a 2008 document attributed to the Army Counterintelligence Centre which concluded that the site constitutes a threat to military operations and US security.
The information could be used by foreign intelligence, insurgents or terrorists for “planning attacks”, the report added.
Its authors warned that the lack of editorial oversight over what could be posted could lead to it being used to spread lies and propaganda.
Their report also revealed that the army had tried to discover the identity of a possible mole leaking information to the site.

Doherty has been arrested in England for allegedly providing the drugs that led to the overdose death of Robin Whitehead, a filmmaker and heiress.Whitehead, whose great uncle was the late billionaire Sir James Goldsmith, was working on a documentary about Doherty when she died in her London apartment in January, apparently of a heroin overdose. TMZ reports that Doherty maintains his innocence, and he’s currently out on bail.
I was listening to Babyshambles “Fuck Forever” when I heard the news. Not really surprising since there is a one in five chance that Doherty will appear in the news on any given day.
