A short lived so called “Brit pop” band — these guys have been described as a British Pavement on AMG and I’ve seen a Jay Reatard comparison here and there. They come out of the clean and catchy Brit era, but I think they sound nice.

Not a lot of Disco gets posted on here, well, because it’s not a fave among us here. But Chris likes his Abba and I like this one a real lot. It has some sentimental value to me because it’s in one of my top movies Vegas Vacation. So good.
SOTD: “Jerk It Out”
The synth/electronic riff whatever you call it really makes this tune. Other than that, it sounds pretty generic like Smash Mouth or something. Wanna be garege. It came up on Jay Reatard radio on Pandora. Interesting selection.
Panda Bear – “Bros”
The verdict has not been reached on whether Tomboy will top Person Pitch, but that Person Pitch album is a keeper. From the Tomboy singles, it’s not looking as though that LP will be as awesome, but it’s hard to gauge that kind of thing from a mere three singles. Anyway, here’s “Bros” (off of Person Pitch):
