RAMA LAMA DING DONG COMING BACK TO O’BRIENS, SAT NOV 16

Announcing RAMA LAMA DING DONG 2024 – KLYAM’s biggest annual music event/party. SATURDAY NOVEMBER 16. 8 PM DOORS at O’BRIENS PUB in Allston.

FEELING FIGURES are coming down on tour from Montreal, Canada. Blew our minds recently at Gonerfest and just released a new record Everything Around You on K that’s received many well deserved accolades in the underground rock n roll universe.

K.O. QUEEN are it! In less than two years of existence, they’ve amassed a loyal following in the Boston underground. Hardcore heads a plenty for sure – but also pretty much everyone who has been lucky to catch them live. Brand new single out now.

ADULT LEARNERS – garage pop at its finest – driven by a sugary organ and a captivating rhythm section. KLYAM faves since they debuted a few years ago!

GIRL PLOWER – outsider electro pop duo from the Pelvic Floor collective – out of the basement and into the bar scene. watch out!

JOHNNIE AND THE FOODMASTERS – Back at O’Briens for the first time since The Best Show back in June – the sextet is nearing 10 years of destroying the oldies via ‘playful’ covers.

Get advance tix because this will sell out and we’d hate to see you out in the cold of Harvard Ave!

ANGELA SAWYER – “Overly creative storyteller/comedian with a music background and a pathological fear of shitty eyewear” – straight from the source; pumped to finally have Angela on a summer show!

WEEKEND OBESITY – who knows really? Electronic adjacent sounds from our sound guy.

10:00 PM – DILEMMA ROSE & THE WAILIN MILFS – The return of the MILFs! One of our favorite local groups of 2023, along with the rest of the Pelvic Floor collective. Jose from Tremendo Garaje described them best: “an evil four-piece making the most angular, oblique and wacky No-Wave Weird Punk you’ve ever heard, which we hope will blow your brains out as much as it did ours!”

JOHNNIE & THE FOODMASTERS APRIL 2023 NORTHEAST TOUR!

AMERICA’S MOST CHAOTIC MALT SHOP MEMORIES SEXTET HIT THE ROAD

Johnnie and the Foodmasters have announced their first tour of the Northeast!

Johnnie & The Foodmasters is Boston’s wildest oldies cover band. Formed as a trio in 2015 at the infamous Allston Speed Trials outdoor festival, the Foodmasters quickly evolved into their current six piece lineup known locally for their improbable yin and yang of pop perfection and shambolic noise. The Foodmasters put their spin on Stax, Sun, and Motown classics alongside frenzied ’60s garage rock. The result is immaculately messy, but plain old fun. The Foodmasters always strive to create a one of a kind experience and are beyond excited to charm the Northeast whilst on tour in April!

ADULT LEARNERS – very new band ft. Kathy Snax on vox/keyboard, Simon on drums (& amazing designer of this flyer), and bassist Joe (of the legendary Tampoffs). Short & sweet garage pop nuggets!

NICE GUYS – our buds – we released their first 7″ and have seen them play 109 times. the nice boys might be at the peak of their noisy rock n roll powers if their 10 yr anniversary show was any indication. new album on the way????

JOHNNIE & THE FOODMASTERS – KLYAM house band – if you can make it ’til the end of the debauchery and irreverent tributes to the ’50s and ’60s…you’ll get receipt. rumors of a totally new set???
