definitely however i feel he is poor man’s Johnny Cash
I absolutely agree! “Crying,” just to name one of his classics, is one of the most emotional songs ever recorded; it’s hard to top. As far as Johnny Cash goes, well I’m a bigger Cash fan myself, but I totally disagree that Orbison is a “poor man’s Johnny Cash” lol. They are two different styles and therefore harder to compare. Though speaking of emotional songs, I’d say Cash’s cover of “Hurt” is pretty damn close if not on par with “Crying.”
