  1. A more interesting release in December 2009 was the Black Jaspers’ LP – that is Khan and Jasper Hood and it is some kind of punk music. It was recorded in 2001 or so. He maintains his interest in hardcore/punk and being involved in producing music along these lines so perhaps when you least suspect it something else like that might appear.

Another Khan thing was released in March 2010 it’s simply described as being from “King Khan and Pat Meteor” and it’s called “The Fiery Tears of St. Laurent”, and the cover has the two of them being burned at the stake. On YouTube if you look you will find some footage of Khan and the Demon’s Claws invading some kind of school in Germany. There is a bigger story behind that involving some kind of sacrifice (of clothes, I think) to St. Laurent who was a martyr burned at the stake. Khan went on about how Montreal is in the middle of a river named after St. Laurent and this is why he says such good music comes from there. Pat Meteor is in the Demon’s Claws.
