Awesome song from what is arguably Boston’s finest current band.

Cool Covers: Little Kid Plays GG!
This youngling does a cool cover of one of my favorite G.G. Allin tunes, “Die When You Die.” This is as equally fucked up as it is awesome.
Keep up the good work young man!
I’ve also taken this as an opportunity to start yet another KLYAM segment in “cool covers,” which for the most part will be little YouTube based videos, people strummin’ on guitars and such. Word.

Band of the Week: The Dum Dum Girls

Our Band of the Week is The Dum Dum Girls. DDG are one of the finest groups around right now. There is a mystique to their art that seems to be missing in most groups- they don’t just jump out at you and let you know all about them on the first date. At the same time, their strong pop hooks and earnest, gorgeous vocals bring a certain comfort and easily draw the listener in. It’s too bad they are not bigger because I think the DDG are great role models for young women!

Rodarte: States of Matter from MOCA on Vimeo.
Haha, they always score! This time it’s “Rodarte: States of Matter”- fairly in depth film about the inner workings and throught process behind fashion.
Anthony Needle Drops Belong
I had a similar reaction, but I’m still in that transitioning process of the album “growing” on me or simply putting my finger on what exactly I find displeasing (at least compared to their debut, as I think this is decent as a plain old record) about the album. We’ll see what happens. Peace.
Donald Duck Gets a Blow Job
Lucky Duck! This is a classic from way back, if you haven’t heard it already then you suck (no pun intended).
