The Box Elders disbanded sometime in late 2010, but somewhere at sometime the members of that legendary band are still playing music. Dave Goldberg, the jovial and dextrous drummer of Box Elders, is Solid Goldberg. From this video of him opening for Black Lips, we see he is playing with a guitarist and the sound is nice (no Box Elders, but nice).

For any of you folks who haven’t seen Dave Goldberg’s exercise approach to the art of drumming, I think now is the time. This is going to sound like old news to long time followers of KLYAM, but Dave plays keyboard and drums simultaneously. How is that possible? It often involves placing a drumstick in the mouth.
