1. I would be surprised had Moore not developed a more sophisticated way of seeing things having met and spoken to some people like Tony Benn for example who steals the show in “Sicko”. Moore always made it his act to be a kind of naive everyman asking “why is that?” to people which is a very important question but he was not exactly an analyst of the power relations. He was someone who just thought something was wrong as do many people, but often there is acceptance or the belief that it’s all a fait accompli as indicated in the famous Thatcher quote “There is no alternative”, and he was asking “why”?
