I don’t think that can be argued Ben. How is “indie” a sound? It’s meant to mean bands signed to an independent label. Calling it a sound is an insult to rock music and all its derivative forms and sub-genres.
Well how about your favorite, “The Left End”? Are those acts mostly “truly” independent or just a bunch of corporate bullshit? By the way, Gabso says hi…and that you make good requests.
I don’t like it because of its independent orientation. For starters, I recognize and like a good share of the songs played compared to the other programs, of which I am less familiar with (except maybe Daytime).

That’s a good query Ben. Gabso would know for sure, but I’d say Left End is at least 60 or 70% independent.
