  1. Oh boy…where do I begin? Dark Side is a great album and a good pick for number one. Plenty of these discs would be on my top ten, twenty, whatever…I’m not VH1 or Rolling Stone or Chris DeCarlo so I couldn’t do 100.

I would put Rage a little lower. Best Beatles album is a debate that will never end, but again Revolver’s certainly one of their strongest and a good pick. If I had to pick only one I’d go with Sgt. Pepper though. Pet Sounds is WAY TOO LOW. I love Johnny Cash but putting At Folsom Prison over Tommy is sacrilege. Hell if I had to go with a Cash album I’d pick one of the later American Recordings. And Blonde on Blonde MUST be higher up…though I’d pick Blood on the Tracks as my current favorite of his. You don’t seem like a jazz fan but Miles Davis’s Kind of Blue would definitely make my list of favorites. In short, YOU’RE WRONG! I kid, but come on, I couldn’t resist throwing in my two cents.

  2. Of course, Ben that’s the point of the Comment section! I always welcome your two cents. If you noticed one of my first comments:following the first twenty-five/ my top twenty-five, the rest are random, no particular order. As for jazz, I’m not much of a fan. I only listen to a few jazz oriented artists: Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, A Tribe Called Quest, Louis Armstrong, and John Coltrane. And pretty much all but, Coltrane are affiliated with other styles/genres, in other words he is the only straight up, hardcore Jazz one to me. I actually only listen to him when I’m doing homework/studying and need to concentrate, but still want to enjoy music, this is the same for Beethoven as well! I’m more of a fan of simple, but passionate “pop” music or music that has its roots in that style, such as the Ramones. Whatever is catchy to me basically.
